About the Event
The Captains Course is an on-going course that focuses on a theme for 4 sessions - each week a session is offered from 7 - 8:30PM. The course is offered in-person and online. Each 4 session series includes new learning, exploration, application, and deployment. The course is for young men ages 15 - 25 that aspire to be bold Christian leaders. Learn and apply Biblical ideals, practices, and principles in your pursuit to become prepared to lead for God. By participating you will develop life skills and leadership qualities that build you to become: bonafide community stewards, responsible disciples of others, great imitators of Jesus, loving brothers in Christ to one another, and righteous leaders by example as authorized by God.
The Captains Course is for young men who demonstrate the following:
- an authentic desire to know and follow Jesus Christ
- a commitment to read, study, and internalize God’s Word daily
- an intrinsic motivation to uplift the world with the promises of the Gospel
- a pure-hearted, deep love and compassion for others without imposing judgement
- an altruistic attitude for serving others and the Kingdom of God
- a will to share the Good News with others and to spend time with God in prayer daily
